With the following artist, Ladrones, I introduce you to Mexican music temper, influenced by Nu Metal, which stands for a new sound revolution!
Back story
Ladrones is a band from Guadalajara, Jalisco, belonging to the Alzada record label, which is known for representing some of the main music acts of Mexican Hip Hop.
Since 2021, they have experimented with urban genres such as Rock/ Metal, Hip Hop and the new wave of regional Mexican music. Known for the reference to crossing boundaries, Ladrones combines a new generation of sound in Mexican-Spanish language - a style self-proclaimed as movement "HEAVY FLOW/ Flow Pesado".
Ladrones stands for diversity, multiculturalism, balance, and the coexistence of different musical genres. Their lyrics reflect cultural society and different aspects of life, combined by a range of genres and technique-musical backgrounds of each member in the industry.
For now, the group has already released in the amount of time 14 singles/ EPs and last year with "Flow Pesado" their first album.
Nadie Ve
With "Nadie Ve" (English: Nobody sees it), Ladrones released last friday 18th April 2025, their newest record by continueing their unique music! This song is a heartfelt reflection on violence, loss, and the fading of hope in society.
The main character in this song expresses thankfulniss to those who’ve helped them, and holds the memories in mind of those who have left this world.
A world consumed by power and fear rather than love. There's a deep yearning for peace, justice, and a return to innocence—where children dream, women feel safe and violence no longer scars daily life. With the anthem keywords "Don't let this faith die," it stands for a wake up call to all listeners to hold on to the hope of humanity in our society today!
