Hard Rock/ Metalcore act Against the Sun entered on 22nd February the next round of the Wacken Metal Battle USA - area Orange County/ Los Angeles! Let's take a look to these guys, who hopefully enter our wellknown German Festival!

Back story
Against The Sun is Orange County’s premier Hard Rock/Metalcore act. With their unique blend of heavy instruments, clean yet intense vocals, and harsh honest lyrics, they create a powerful listening experience that has garnered the band a dedicated following.
After generating over 270,000 streams from consistent releases over 2024, Against The Sun is kicking off the new year with a brand new track that is as ferocious as it is beautiful. ‘Pieces’ pulls from every inch of Modern Hard Rock, showcasing a heartbreak ballad in its first half that builds into a defiant anthem you can scream your lungs out to.
Pieces pushes the radio-friendly Rock sound to its Metalcore edge with adrenaline pumping riffs and a moshpit-ready breakdown. Over the past two years of releases and local touring, Against The Sun is known for their fierce and captivating live performances.
Over the years, Against the Sun released their self released EPs ‘Silhouette’ and ‘Truth’s Wake’ by generating over 454,000 streams in total. As well, they performed at Knotfest, headlining the House of Blues, headlining the legendary Chain Reaction and performing with nationally touring acts, such as Eyes Set To Kill, Adema, VRSTY, and Inimical Drive.
Against the Sun was also been seen on coverages for the magazines New Noise Magazine, DSCVRD Magazine, Voyage LA, and Canvas Rebel.
