New sounds from the Philippines
Cambronero shows off their 20 years experience of progressive rock tunes, combined with complex song structures. With their melodic and heavy parts, the members stand for a solid rock sound, which has formed the local scene. Bacolod City is the capital of the island Negros, the 3rd biggest island of the Philippines. Let's get to know them better with the following introduction!
Back story
Cambronero, hailing from Bacolod City, was formed in 2004 when brothers Jubik, Michael, and Vincent, along with their high school friend Joseph, came together to make music. In 2008, JV Bernus joined as the vocalist, bringing fresh, dynamic energy. What started as a cover band soon evolved into a powerhouse of progressive rock. Their hard-hitting sound earned them 1st runner-up at the 2009 Red Horse Muziklaban, solidifying their place in the scene. Today, Cambronero continues to push boundaries with its lineup, exploring new sounds with a taste of modern metal.
