Back story

NUTEKI is an Alternative Rock band currently based from Minsk (Belarus) and founded 2007 by Mikhail Nokarashvili (vocals). The current members are Mikhail, Dmitriy Bezborody (bass guitar), Alexandr Naumov (guitar) and Andrey Ivanov (drums).

The group sings in three languages - Russian, Belarusian and English. In February 2008, NUTEKI self-released their debut single "Glass of My Soul", which later became the band's most popular release to date.

They evolved and entered many genre influences, such as Alternative, Rock/ Metal, Pop and Electronic Beats. Over the span of their career, NUTEKI took part in the Belarusian national contest to represent the country on Eurovision Song Contest four times.

They became semifinalists in 2011, won the second place in 2013, became in fifth in 2014 and got second in 2017. In 2014, NUTEKI self-released their EP "THE BGNNG", which consists the first chapter of their second album and music video song "Wind Inside".

In 2015, NUTEKI released their most known song "Дни-километры" (Days-Kilometers). NUTEKI continued their musical journey 2021 with their single releases "Girl don't cry" and "Koma", which had a huge aspect in the actual situation.

Followed by their newest record Стекло моей души 2.0 / Glass of my Soul, a remake of the band's first released song in 2008.

Problem [2024]

On 14th November 2024, the group released their newest record since 2017. "Problem" represents 13 songs, rock-pop album. The album-titled first song Problem/ Хлопоты marks the beginning of NUTEKI´s newest album. Thematically it asks the listener "What does it mean not to escalate?" when you took your inner walls from the outside. "Time is testing us all". The second song Gossiped/ Сплетены continues the vibe, while the 3rd song Puzzle/ Головоломка reminds me kind of the old Alternative NUTEKI sound and is also my personal favorite song on this album.

Everyone left / Все уехали and Tears and salt / Слёзы и соль follows on the rock/pop sounds, followed as well by Wet matches / Мокрые спички. The 7th song on this record Purple clouds / Фиолетовые тучи reminds the listener back of NUTEKI´s Eurovision Contest era and goes more into pop music. Track 08 Let go / Отпусти comes as an epic rock ballad and is my 2nd favorite on this album. Stop time / Останови время comes as melodic rock-pop song.

The 10th song of this album My moon / Моя луна comes with a second vocal voice. Angels / Ангелы takes the listener into a complete new sound experience, combined with hard-hitting electronic & rock tunes, and is well one of my favorite tunes on this record.

The beginning makes almost the end. Glas of soul 2.0 / Стекло Души 2.0, the debut song of 2008 comes in a 2.0. Version, which was released in the beginning of this year. Crystal sun/ Хрустальное солнце makes the last song of this album.

The album comes as a grown up record of great rock-pop songs and especially the rock must be a great live expierence. It came unexpectedly and let us listeners hope to see a tour (maybe) :-)
