Some days ago, I went again to South Korea and could discover some new sounds. Today, lets take a focus to "The Hidden Elephant"!
Back story
The Hidden Elephant was formed in 2018 as a duo in Seoul and released during the band's short history three singles. By announcing the EP "The Quiet Revolution", the members re-formed as a full band and released with singles "Choose", "People Haze", "Halka Malka", and "Summer Goes When the Flowers wither".
"We believe, that the basics of popular music come from band sounds,
so we only produce music with the structure of a guitar, vocal, and drum base that supports the melody part! As a vocalist, I like Chris Connell's strong but beautiful tone and lyrics, while Sancho the guitar is SRV, Jimmy Hendrix bluesy and traditional guitar sound, drummer Hyun Bin, was influenced by RATM's BradWilk, and Jihyuk a bassist, uses dark and heavy sounds under the influence of Geezer Butler, a bassist in the Black Sabbath."
In February 2024, the Hidden Elephant made successfully a Japan tour and will have another one in November! Recently, many people in Latin America love The Hidden Elephant's music. In January, Para ti LATAM, an online concert for LATAM fans, was held.

Q1: For someone, who gets new into your music - how would you describe your band in Genre/ background in some words? The Hidden Elephant is a musician and live band. The beauty of a live band is live, so if you listened to the sound source and found it attractive, I hope you find another attraction in live.
We'll release our single Honey Badger on Nov. 15! It's a song to give those who are living under the current political and economic conditions in Korea the strength to navigate through
the present unstable times!
Q3: If you could choose one song of your album, which one would you take? Of course it's Honey Badger with a sound like Honey Badger that doesn't care about anything and just goes my way.
Q4: What are your future plans? From 29th november til 2nd december, four live performances are scheduled in Tokyo, Japan, and after that, we are a live band, so we will meet you through numerous live performances.
